Okay, I will admit, I watched the trailer from the website and was super excited to go see it. This sequel delivered on the promise of great music and loads of laughs! Bella, Chloe, Cynthia, Lily, Fat Amy and the gang are back! Chloe has purposely failed class to remain a Bella. Becca looks to the future and a legacy arrives.
The opening sequence promises to be grand and it was until ... whoops! A clothing malfunction brings disgrace to the Bellas and they're suspended! What?!? How can they do that to the awesomeness that is the Barden Bellas? Well, they were performing for none other than the President of the United States. Yeah...
So, the movie follows the Bellas through suspension which means no recruiting. No new Bellas means that when they graduate the Bellas are done. They can't let that happen! Becca proposes a deal and it is accepted. They rumble along, stumbling over life and futures only to realize they have lost their sound and need to find it again.
And that my friends is where I will leave you. If you want to know how it ends or how they fall into such disgrace go see it!
Where to start... Well, there are haters and they will hate. There were reviews that said this film did not live up to the hype and expectations. OMG! They were wrong this was so much better.
You get a peek into the lives of each character through Scarlet Witch and the controversial Clint Barton being married...well it worked! There was more Hawkeye love this time around and for good reason. He and Natasha are the only ones without any super powers. Not every hero has super powers.
You get great one liners from the whole team not just Stark, Thor or Cap.
"Watch the language." - Cap
"It slipped out." - Cap
"No one will miss him." - Hawkeye
Sorry, can't recall the rest at the moment but go see the movie, you won't be disappointed! Joss Whedon has done it again!
